Jay Harrison & Kyle DeCoste / Brampton Battalion 2001-02/2006-07
Here is my theory: This jersey is from the early 2000's when the team still wore NIKE. It has a patch covering NIKE SWOOSH and has a nameplate change. It is missing the OHL logo patch on the right breast for some reason but this also signifies that it is from the early 2000's. There is no sign of th e OHL patch being removed. By the time DeCoste played his first year with the Battalion, the OHL was already using the Reebok Vector logo and had the OHL patch on the right breast for a few years. So there is this massive fight repair and Kyle wouldn't have worn this in the regular season as he wore a Reebok Vector jersey. CONCLUSION: This sweater was recycled for Kyle in his first Pre-Season with the Battalion in 2006 and was primarily worn in the 2001-02 season by known fighter and former NHL tough guy Jay Harrison. The A has been removed and reattached at some point as well. This has to be a Jay Harrison jersey that was recycled. What do you think?? Drew Petkoff played for the Battalion in 2002-03 and wore #23 but didn't get in a fight and only played half the season and never wore the A and currently plays pro Lacrosse. Got to be a Jay sweater!
